Poor absorption can limit L-arginine’s benefits

Although this powerful Amino Acid has been shown to provide a large number of health benefits, it has one significant issue; our body has a very difficult time digesting and absorbing L-arginine. One reason is that the intestine and liver contain the enzyme arginase that breaks down L-arginine.

The remainder of the L-arginine product is excreted from our body in the form of waste.
